Our Mission Founded in 2005 by scientists concerned about complacency and the degradation of scientific practices in the fields of thermal analysis and rheology, nobadscience.com is an organization committed to progress through education. We exist to expose questionable scientific practices and to challenge instrument designers and manufacturers when they fail to live up to their mandate to produce thermal analysis and rheological systems of the highest quality. In pursuing our mission, we have no permanent allies or enemies. We promote open, informed debate about today’s choices in instrument design. We use research, and non-violent conflict to raise public awareness and the quality of public debate. Thermal analysis and rheology are critical technologies. Thousands of scientists use these techniques to develop or improve almost every product used by the world’s population on a daily basis. As a global organization, nobadscience.com focuses on the most crucial worldwide threats to quality thermal analysis and rheological data. We consider ourselves the guardian of good scientific practices in the fields of thermal analysis, and rheology. To maintain its independence, nobadscience.com does not accept donations from governments or individuals. We are not affiliated with any political parties – though we have been known to enjoy home-cooked meals.
